Tyler Stock is  a singer, songwriter, and musician from Chicago. Known for his folkish sensibilities, lyrical depth, and radiant energy, Stock’s music invites the listener to enthusiastically engage with the world around them.

He began his musical career as the front-man of indie rock band The Laughing Hearts, writing and recording 22 songs with the project from 2018 through 2024 and performing hundreds of shows both with a full band and as a solo act. In 2025 a decision was made to branch out as a solo artist in order to further experiment with songwriting and instrumentation.

Stock’s solo debut  “…To Be Lost And To Know It”  is a celebration of reinvention. Each track brims with folk-driven instrumentation, buoyed by acoustic guitars, steady percussion, and warm, expressive vocals. Lyrically, he explores the beauty of uncertainty, the thrill of self-discovery, and the intoxicating freedom found in getting “lost”, both literally and metaphorically. The songs are, as always, love songs: to life, to connection, and to the world itself.

In 2026, Stock will release a full-length album.
